Andy Day is a Principal with GE Healthcare Partners where he leads the global analytic consulting team and the design of GE’s real-time data analytics for hospital command centers. Andy has personally led engagements in the US, Canada, UK, Singapore, Australia, and beyond focused on the design of future facilities, staffing, and care model redesign to help clients improve their operational efficiencies. His 30 years of GE leadership experience includes over 20 years of consulting work focused on helping clients improve their performance. Andy and his team pioneered the development and application of a healthcare-specific simulation platform and a first of its’ kind dynamic forecasting capability. 

Over the past several years, Andy has focused on the application of command centers in healthcare. He leads the “problem back” design and development of custom analytics that are predictive, proscriptive, and drive action.

In the first half of his career at GE (before joining healthcare), Andy held engineering, marketing, and product management positions of increasing responsibility leading to his creation and leadership of an operations consulting business unit that focused on improving efficiency and throughput in the automotive, electronics, semiconductor, mining, and materials industries.

Andy earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY.
