AdventHealth Utilizes Mission Control Command Center to Coordinate Care in Response to Pandemic

In the video clip below, WFTV9 in Orlando, Florida, takes viewers behind the scenes at AdventHealth's Mission Control Command Center.

AdventHealth is using the Command Center as a place where important hospital teams can all meet in one room to coordinate care as efficiently as possible.

“This is unlike any other health care system in the nation right now,” said Dr. Sanjay Pattani, Mission Control medical director. In mission control, nurses and other health care specialists monitor every single one of their patients across AdventHealth’s eight hospitals in Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties--anywhere between 1,800 and 2,200 patients on a given day.

AdventHealth launched Mission Control in August, 2019. Now doctors say it’s pivotal in their response to the current pandemic.
